KAOLACK : Fallou Kébé offre des fournitures scolaires à 10 écoles de la commune

To materialize the concept "Oubi Tey Diang Tey," the president of ASC Saloum, Fallou Kébé, has just marked a significant step for the start of classes, despite the problems related to flooding. He offered school supplies consisting of notebooks, pens, slates, chalk, and pencils to 10 elementary schools in the commune.

For the donor, the choice was made at the level of public institutions that are most affected by the floods and which need support. "We chose outlying neighborhoods and flooded schools. Through this gesture, we want to help parents with the purchase of supplies. We supported the schools for the start, but we found a complicated situation with regard to the presence of water in the schools," noted Fallou Kébé, president and initiator of the 72 hours of Sine-Saloum.

Following this support, the donor called for an urgent solution before launching an appeal to the municipality. He also invited elected officials to be open to goodwill and the diaspora to enable them to intervene in time in this type of situation.

The school principals who received the donations welcomed the initiative. Aliou Camara, principal of Sara Extension School, called for water supply and the rapid drainage of stagnant water to facilitate access for students and teachers.
