Kaolack : La BRS saisit 29 kg de chanvre indien sur le convoyeur A. Diallo
The Kaolack Regional Narcotics Brigade (BRS), part of the OCRTIS, has dealt a severe blow to drug trafficking in the center of the country. An ambush operation carried out early this Monday, around 5:45 a.m., led to the interception of two packages weighing a total of 29 kg of Indian hemp on the Latmingué – Thikate Boyguel – Keur Mboucki axis. The drugs were being transported on a Jakarta motorcycle by a man named A. Diallo, born in 1975 and claiming to be a mason by profession. They were intended for traffickers in the Guinguinéo area. The courier was arrested by the police.
According to Seneweb sources, this seizure is part of the Saloum BRS's strategy to combat cross-border crime and drug trafficking. It confirms OCRTIS's commitment to intensifying its operations to dismantle networks active in the region.
