Kaolack : Les commerçants de Mbarou Dieune sommés de quitter les lieux ce jeudi
Traders at the Mbarou Ndieune market in Kaolack held a sit-in to protest the municipality's decision to evict them on Thursday. They consider the decision illegal and the notice period too short. Their spokesperson, Mbaye Babacar Diouf, denounced the measure as brutal and unjust, also pointing to a lack of respect for the traders.
Wearing red armbands to express their outrage, they are also calling on the authorities to address the situation prevailing in the central market.
