Kédougou : trois braqueurs d’orpailleurs tombent, deux en cavale
On August 18, five armed men robbed small gold miners, stealing 30 grams of raw gold, valued at 1.5 million CFA francs, as well as a silver bracelet, a telephone and other personal belongings.
Following field investigations reinforced by digital forensic techniques, the Kédougou territorial brigade, supported by the new research section, arrested three of the alleged perpetrators last Wednesday in Wakilaré, a village located about twenty kilometers from Kédougou. Their accomplices are still actively sought, reports Le Soleil.
