Keur Massar : Un marin sierra-léonais arrêté par l'OCRTIS pour trafic de kush
On October 18, 2025, the Dakar Regional Narcotics Brigade of the Central Office for the Suppression of Illicit Drug Trafficking (OCRTIS) arrested a major kush supplier named Abass Kamara, a Sierra Leonean born in 1982 in Freetown, who identified himself as a sailor and resides in Keur Massar. He was arrested around 3:45 p.m. near the Djolof Chicken restaurant in Keur Massar, in possession of 125g of kush.
His arrest followed the successful exploitation of an order placed by a man named Jean Benoît Ndiaye. The latter, arrested a few days earlier in possession of five bags of kush, had agreed to cooperate with the police by delivering to his supplier, who was supposed to deliver the goods to him that day.
Acting on this basis, the investigators set up a surveillance system. Jean Benoît Ndiaye received a phone call from Abass Kamara, who arranged to meet him at their usual place of business.
On the day of the meeting, Abass Kamara was surprised, restrained, and searched. Police discovered 125g of kush on him, the same product he had ordered, as well as a cell phone. A search of the suspect's room uncovered 275,000 CFA francs and a second cell phone, according to Seneweb sources.
