Kidira : Un jardinier interpellé avec 100 comprimés de tramadol et 500 g de chanvre indien
Yesterday, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., members of the Kidira combat unit under the Tambacounda regional narcotics brigade of the OCRTIS arrested an individual for possession and trafficking of drugs involving one hundred tramadol rayol tablets and 500 g of Indian hemp, according to Seneweb sources.
This arrest follows the exploitation of information from a source reporting a drug trafficker based in the Liberté district of Kidira.
The suspect, identified as Mr. Wagne, a 28-year-old gardener residing in Kidira in the Liberté district, was located by the elements who went to the said district to proceed with his arrest.
Subjected to a security pat-down, he was found in possession of an iPhone 7 and 6,000 CFA francs.
When briefly questioned, he admitted to being the owner of the drugs, which he said he bought in Diboli from a man named Thierno, without providing any further details.
The seized items were placed under seal and Mr. Wagne was taken into custody after being informed of his rights. The public prosecutor's office was notified and the investigation is ongoing.
