KOLDA : L'ancien DG de la lonase fustige la gestion de l'équipe municipale
In Kolda, the municipal team is in the crosshairs of the former director general of Lonase. Abdourahmane Baldé, known as Doura, is opposed to the way the municipal institution is run. The president of the Kolda Standing Up Movement (MKD) cites as evidence the overcrowding of the central market, the hardship faced by shopkeepers and street vendors without designated areas, and the problem of rainwater drainage that causes flooding in several neighborhoods.
According to Doura Baldé, Mayor Mame Boye Diao and his team, at the end of their term, have failed to put Kolda on the path to development. This is why the MKD (Movement for the Defense of the Constitution) is determined to take the mayor's office in the next local elections. The efforts of the municipal team, which have significantly reduced flooding in the Kolda municipality through a large-scale stormwater drainage system and the implementation of the municipal development plan, are actions poorly received by the MKD, which is now undertaking a restructuring of its movement to better address the concerns of the population.
The alumni network, the network of managers, and the network of teachers are structures that Doura Baldé intends to leverage to achieve greater political, economic, and social results for the benefit of Kolda residents. For the mayor's seat, the MKD party has declared its intentions against Mayor Mame Boye Diao.
