Kolda : Un homme tombe en syncope au marché central en plein Ramadan
The heat makes Ramadan difficult to endure in the capital of Fouladou. Mamadou Seydi can attest to this. This man in his sixties fainted this afternoon at Kolda's central market, right before the helpless eyes of passersby.
Quickly rescued, Mamadou Seydi regained his breath. Those who assisted him urged him to take a few sips of water under the blazing sun. A heartbreaking sight that drew a crowd to the victim.
Placed in the shade of the market trees, Mamadou Seydi was driven home by a family acquaintance. Once there, he slept for over an hour.
Upon waking up, Mamadou Seydi, who had regained his health, wanted to thank the people of goodwill who, according to him, saved his life.
