Les corps de deux talibés de 11 ans retrouvés sans vie

Kanté, both 11 years old and students at the local Koranic school, were found this Monday morning in a branch of the Gambia River.

Alerted by local residents, firefighters recovered the bodies of the two boys from the river and transported them to the morgue at the Tambacounda Regional Hospital. According to their parents, the two children had been missing since Sunday morning, a disappearance that had sparked a massive search and widespread concern throughout the village.
