"Mésaventure" de la chaloupe : Le Port explique ce qui s’est vraiment passé !
Yesterday, Monday, the storm and strong winds that blew through Dakar caused concern in Gorée. The boat that shuttles between Dakar and the island was given a rough ride as it docked. What happened?
Seneweb contacted the services of the Autonomous Port of Dakar, responsible for operating the said boat. They explained that "The boat was surprised by the strong wind and rain as it approached Gorée and was able to dock despite the narrowness of the dock and the weather constraints."
They assure that the boat "has not suffered any damage." However, despite everything, "checks were carried out by the maritime liaison technical teams and they did not detect any apparent damage," assures the Autonomous Port of Dakar. And so, the shuttles continue normally.
