Ndiaganiao : Un célèbre voleur de bétail tué lors d'une violente altercation avec sa victime
Birame Sène, alias "Ndiangou", aged 43 and a notorious cattle thief, was fatally injured during a fight with Mr. Mbissane Ndione, from whom he was trying to steal his herd of cattle.
Since September 26, 2026, Birame Sène and his accomplice Aliou Diouf (40 years old) had been wanted. They were involved in a cattle theft of 11 sheep, committed using a vehicle in the village of Mballakh, in the district of Fissél.
During a previous chase with the villagers, the two criminals had managed to escape with the animals, abandoning a cart and a horse in the village of Ndiaye Ndiaye. While the cart was impounded at the Ndiaganiao police station, the horse, entrusted to the village chief, died a few days later. Meanwhile, four of the stolen sheep had been found at Aliou Diouf's home.
A week after their first crime, Birame Sène and a certain Ndome Ndione attempted another nighttime incursion into the enclosures of Messrs. Aly Ndione and Mbissane Ndione. Unfortunately for them, the two herders were watching their flocks.
A violent fight broke out. Birame Sène struck Mbissane Ndione with a machete, who immediately retaliated in self-defense. In the ensuing chaos, Ndome Ndione's accomplice fled but was later apprehended by the gendarmes. Birame Sène, the thief, critically wounded, succumbed to his injuries before the gendarmes arrived.
The herder Mbissane Ndione, who was injured, was first taken to the local health post. Once his condition was stabilized, he was brought before the prosecutor in Mbour on charges of assault and battery resulting in death without intent to kill.
As for Ndome Ndione, the accomplice of the deceased, he is being prosecuted for criminal association and attempted robbery committed at night.

Bravo à Mbissane! je pense que dans ce cas de figure la légitime défense ne fera pas l'objet de doute du point de vue de nos "juristes".

Le mot "décédé" est en principe réservé aux personnes, pas aux animaux.
Moi j'aurais écris "mort" plutôt que "décédé" en parlant du cheval 🐎.

Si c'est la victime de vol qui avait été tuée ce serait juste une vie de plus perdue ! En lieu et place de la légitime défense, voilà quelqu'un qui risque une inculpation pour meutre !!! C'est vraiment ahurissant il n'a fait que défendre sa vie et son bien ! Franchement la justice n'existe pas au Sénégal
