Négociation politiques et libération du soldat entre les mains de combattants du MFDC : Les femmes pour la paix en Casamance plaident pour leur implication
The Casamance Regional Committee for Solidarity for Peace (Usoforal), on the eve of the International Day of Peace, launched a plea for the release of the soldier who has been in the hands of MFDC fighters since last April. As a reminder, following attacks on populations by MFDC elements in Djignaky, the national army launched operations to secure and dismantle the positions of these armed men. During these operations, an attempted ambush was thwarted. However, a soldier from the health corps found himself trapped and is in the hands of the fighters.
Mrs. Cissé Seynabou Male, founder of this Usoforal women's committee, affirms that women are working discreetly for the release of this soldier. ʺThe position of women is always the same, that is to say, discreetly, to take steps with those who are holding, or who are presumed to be holding, this soldier. We unfortunately do not have very precise information, but we are knocking on all doors, at the level of different factions, to discuss and to demand the release of this soldier, for greater appeasement,ʺ confided the founder of Usoforal.
Ms. Cissé calls for greater involvement of women in political negotiations for peace. "Anything that is done without women is against women. And we say it loud and clear, [...]. This is the challenge and the plea we are making so that we are integrated. We need to be there, because during the negotiations, we rediscuss the interests of each other. We want our interests to be taken into account," said the founder of Usoforal.

Les Casamançais pensaient qu'avec l'arrivée de Pasteef (Sonko) , le conflit allait se régler plus facilement mais c'est méconnaître les indépendantistes.
Ces femmes là fonctionnent comme les ONG , au door la. Plaidoyer, conférence patati patata mais elles ne peuvent rien changer.
