NGOUDIANE : Pour une histoire de gaz, M. Gningue poignarde sa belle-sœur avec une cuillère et se retrouve en prison
Ms. Gningue, 29, was given a suspended sentence of six months. She was prosecuted for assault and battery causing a total temporary incapacity (TTI) of 10 days.
Over a dispute about gas, Mr. Gningue stabbed his sister-in-law, S. Thiaw, with a spoon and was subsequently remanded in custody. These events took place in Ngoudiane.
In court in Thiès, the plaintiff stated that a gas cylinder was the source of their dispute. She explained that when Mr. Gningue went into the kitchen and noticed her gas cylinder had been moved, she verbally abused her. She added that they argued during this altercation before Mr. Gningue grabbed a spoon and stabbed her in the face.
The defendant denied the charges. "She came and attacked me in my room. I asked her to leave and she refused. We then fought and my nails injured her face. I didn't stab her."
The public prosecutor considered the facts to be consistent and requested the application of the law.
The judge found Mr. Gningue guilty of intentional assault and battery (Cbv) and sentenced her to 6 months suspended sentence.

il faut que le ministère des armées commande une cargaison de cuillères...armes fatales 🤣
Prendre une cuillère pour poignarder au visage » n’a pas de sens logique, car une cuillère n’est pas un objet tranchant ou conçu pour poignarder...
