Noo Lank en concertation avec les syndicats de la Senelec sur la cherté de l’électricité
The Noo Lank Collective continues its civic commitment against the high cost of living and for more accessible energy. This Wednesday, October 8, 2025, its representatives were received by the Senelec Workers' Union Convergence, which brings together all the unions of the National Electricity Company of Senegal (Senelec). The meeting, chaired by Habib Aidara, coordinator of the Union Convergence and general secretary of SUTELEC, was attended by several union figures, including: Ousmane Mbacké Diop, general secretary of SYNTECS, Al Assane Ba, general secretary of SUDETEL, Serge Louis Déthié Cissé, general secretary of the Senelec Executives' Union, as well as Daouda Ba, head of the Corporate Life department, and Insa Ndao, head of the Commercial Claims department.
During nearly three hours of discussions, the discussions focused on the current situation of Senelec, the concerns of the population regarding the rising cost of electricity, as well as the pricing system applied by the national company.
As part of its participatory approach, the Noo Lank Collective has announced that it will be received this Thursday, October 9 at 11 a.m. by the Director General of Senelec, before another audience scheduled for this Friday, October 10 at 4 p.m. with the Minister of Energy, Petroleum and Mines.
At the end of these meetings, the collective intends to publish a detailed report in order to share the conclusions and define the next steps in its fight for fair, equitable and low-cost energy.

en tout cas sauvez nous, à défaut de pouvoir régler le problème du loyer, gérer lènne woyofal bii au moins, c'est une catastrophe, les ménages en souffrent comme pas possible surtout si période de chaleur bii, il n'y a encore rien de concret qui s'est amélioré dans les vies des sénégalais depuis l'arrivée du nouveau pouvoir, j'ai voté diomaye moyy sonko mais je patiente toujours, rien de concret pour le moment.
Les syndicats se taisent sur la situation pour des privilèges et avantages sociaux Khana !!
Les grandes sociétés ont elles des syndicats et des délégués ? Personne ne les entend pour la cause des travailleurs .

La question est certes d'inviter les Sénégalais à une gestion plus intelligente de leurs consommation d'électricité. Mais de l'autre côté, la SENELEC doit comprendre la situation de ces sénégalais qui souffre de la chèreté de cette énergie vitale. Donc, il faut revoir cette grille et baisser les tarifs. Un point et c'est tout. Que personne ne nous prenne pour des imbéciles en promettant une baisse à 80 FRS le kWh en 2050. Beaucoup d'entre nous seront déja morts.
