Occupation anarchique de la voie publique : Les artisans automobiles de Ziguinchor interpellent les autorités sur le besoin d’un site de recasement
The automotive tradespeople of Ziguinchor welcome the authorities' efforts to regulate public spaces by combating the chaotic and illegal occupation of public roads. However, they urge the government to expedite the allocation of designated spaces to ensure the continuity of their businesses and to provide state support for training aimed at formalizing and professionalizing the sector.

Pape Samba Fall, regulator and wise man of the Association of automotive artisans of Ziguinchor, took the opportunity to shed light on the situation of artisans regarding the situation of child labor.

Returning to the issue of clearing public roads to stop anarchic occupations and disorder in the country's major cities, the car artisans of Ziguinchor do not say no, but they advocate for support from the State above all else.

"First, we ask the State to subsidize us so that we can at least have garages. We want relocation sites for all artisans. We also want training and health insurance for artisans," said Pape Samba Fall, regulator and elder of the Association of Automotive Artisans of Ziguinchor, following extensive consultations on the future of the profession after the authorities' decision to release land in an anarchic manner.
