For the past few hours, thunderstorms and strong winds have been hitting the country. The Ministry of Water Resources, which has deployed its resources to combat the flooding, has issued a warning.
In a message posted on its digital platforms, it explains that the flood prevention system in place includes Communal Safeguard Plans (PCS), also known as contingency plans. These plans issue regular alerts to warn the population of the arrival of storms and rain, which can cause flooding.
And it turns out that since the beginning of the afternoon of this Friday, "weather forecasts from several sources indicate that thunderstorms accompanied by winds will affect several regions of the country, notably the Center and the Coast," the ministry reports.
Particularly affected are Touba, which is preparing for Magal, Kaolack, Dakar, and other regions. In some areas, these rains could continue for several days starting this weekend, warns the department headed by Cheikh Tidiane Dieye.
Having mobilized all its operational structures in the area of flood prevention and management, it nevertheless urges our compatriots to exercise caution and prepare for all eventualities. This includes protecting perishable goods and securing anything that could be vulnerable.

Loooooooooool
SSatellites du Sénégal ? Vous vivez sur quelle planète ?
