The Parcelles-Assainies district police station has dealt a major blow to the underworld with the arrest of a dealer in possession of 66 kg of Indian hemp, Seneweb learned from the communications division of the national police.
This raid was the result of intelligence. The surprise raid carried out yesterday, Tuesday, around 7 p.m., on the suspect's apartment allowed Commissioner Abdou Sarr's men to seize this quantity of drugs hidden in four bags.
Known to the police for his drug trafficking activities, SM admitted to owning the drugs. He was taken into custody for possession and trafficking of Indian hemp. The seized drugs were taken to the police station for further investigation.
The National Police intends to continue the search and therefore invites the population to contact 17 for any useful information in this direction.
