Partenariat “Une Latrine = Une Dignité” : Bébé Basse Solidarité et l'ONAS s’unissent pour l’Assainissement des ecoles à Dakar
In Dakar, the Bébé Basse Solidarité (BBS) association launched a citizen initiative aimed at restoring the dignity of children in suburban schools by building new and modern latrines.
The initiative was born from an alarming observation: a visit to a school in the suburbs of Dakar where hundreds of children spent their days without proper toilets.
The BBS association, under the slogan "One latrine = One dignity", decided to address this lack by acting to ensure that access to dignity precedes education.
To achieve its goal, the Bébé Basse Solidarité association works in partnership with the National Sanitation Office of Senegal (ONAS) and the MSA organization.
Their goal is to build modern latrines in schools and the most vulnerable homes.
