Plus de 2 millions F CFA volés chez El Hadj Malick Ndiaye aux Mamelles : Le cambrioleur en série Amadou Ba arrêté par la police de Dieuppeul
The Dieuppeul district police station, under the command of Commissioner Thioub, has put an end to the activities of serial burglar Amadou Ba, who was operating in several upscale neighborhoods of Dakar. He and his accomplices have been taken into custody. The burglar had stolen a total of over 9 million CFA francs.
His arrest followed information from a well-connected source within criminal circles. This information led to the location of Amadou Ba, who presented himself as a building electrician in the Baraque de la Liberté 6 housing project.
This is how officers deployed to the scene were able to arrest the suspect, who was taken to the Dieuppeul police station for questioning.
Amadou Ba admitted to committing several burglaries in different areas of Dakar, notably Virage, Ngor, Mamelles, and Liberté 6 Extension. He stated that he acted alone in some cases and as part of an organized gang in others, including with a certain BZ, who is currently on the run.
During his hearing, Amadou Ba first confessed to stealing a mobile phone belonging to a woman named AG Fall. He also admitted to burglarizing the apartment of JC Boulandjo, where he stole an HP 1TB laptop, a Samsung A21 phone, game consoles, a PlayStation 4, and cash totaling 760,000 CFA francs.
Furthermore, he admitted to having committed several other crimes in the Mbackiyou Faye district of Mamelles where he burglarized Mr. Sougou's apartment and stole cash totaling 2,545,500 CFA francs as well as gold jewelry estimated at 1,540,000 CFA francs.
The thief also admitted to having broken into the home of the current Speaker of the National Assembly, El Hadj Malick Ndiaye, in the Mamelles district, currently occupied by his nephew, P. Mbengue. During the burglary, he stole a total of 2,250,000 CFA francs in cash, according to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb.
In the Comico neighborhood of Ouakam, Amadou Ba stole 1,800,000 CFA francs from the home of MB Sall and broke into the homes of L. Sall and CT Ly, located in Virage. The extent of the damages suffered by these individuals has not yet been precisely determined.
When questioned about the fate of the loot, the burglar named three people who helped him sell the stolen goods. These were Mr. Ndour, a phone repairman, and PM Sène, a seller of phone accessories. They allegedly bought the stolen cell phones and other electronic equipment. Meanwhile, the jeweler Mr. Thiam reportedly acquired the stolen gold jewelry.
A life of luxury financed by crime
Reflecting on how he used the money from these thefts, Amadou Ba admitted to buying a Yamaha TMAX motorcycle. He also bought clothes and rented furnished apartments to live the high life.
Following his confession, the three receivers of stolen goods were also arrested. Mr. Ndour, PM Sène, and Mr. Thiam are being prosecuted for receiving stolen goods, according to Seneweb sources close to the prosecutor's office.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the four suspects were brought before the Dakar High Court on Tuesday. Amadou Ba is being prosecuted for criminal conspiracy, multiple thefts committed day and night, as part of a group, involving breaking and entering, and using vehicles. The three receivers of stolen goods will face charges of receiving stolen property.

Quand on leur parle des milliards de Farba Ngom ,de Madiambal Diagne et de sa femme ,d'Amadou Sall et de Macky Sall ,de Mansour Faye ,de Mambaye Niang, de ceux qui sont sous bracelet ou en détention provisoire et tous les autres voleurs et criminels exilés etc....,ces salauds corrompus balaient d'un revers de main .Ils hurlent au réglement de comptes et à la vengeance.Traitant le peuple qui réclame justice d'aigri , de frustré et de jaloux ..
Là, ils font feu de tout bois pour deux misérables millions de francs cfa..
Pourtant l'article dit clairement que la maison du président de l'A.N est occupée par son neveu Mbengue.Celui-ci pourrait bien être le propriétaire de la somme dérobée.
