Projet CDC Bambilor : Les acquéreurs excédés dénoncent des promesses non tenues
The CDC Bambilor real estate project, launched in 2016 with the promise of modern villas and apartments, has turned into a nightmare for 88 buyers united within the Collectif des acquisteurs de la cité CDC Bambilor. Nearly ten years later, deliveries are still pending. "Some have paid the full amount, others part, but on the ground, there is nothing," denounces Pape Ablaye Sarr, secretary general of the collective. Initially entrusted to the Société de Réalisation et de Travaux (SRT) for construction and to Physalis for marketing, the project encountered difficulties from 2023, with the arrest and subsequent release of the directors of the two companies, while the funds collected had already been committed.
The Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC), the majority partner, has regained control of the project, promising to restart work. "They assured us that everything would restart, but nothing has changed," laments Pape Ablaye Sarr, criticizing the "informal" and "unreliable" communications from the CDC's director general, often transmitted via WhatsApp. Approaches to political and government authorities have remained unanswered. "We have written to several authorities, but no one wants to comment on this matter, as if it were taboo," accuses the collective. The buyers have multiplied their efforts to obtain explanations. A hearing with CDC officials two months ago yielded no concrete results. "We were promised a monitoring committee, but everything remains at a standstill," laments Mr. Sarr. Faced with this silence, the collective is taking action.
A press conference is planned for Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Bopp Center to alert the public and the authorities. "After this media release, we will send an official request to the Prime Minister or the President of the Republic for a meeting," announced Pape Ablaye Sarr.
Our attempts to obtain a response from the general management of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) have remained unanswered.

À la place, on a affaire à des responsables incompétents, plus occupés à jouir des privilèges du pouvoir et à s’afficher sur les réseaux sociaux ou les plateaux télé qu’à travailler. Pendant ce temps, sur tous les sites de la CDC, les acquéreurs sont dans l’impasse : aucun interlocuteur, aucune visibilité, et même les commerciaux ne savent rien.
Le gouvernement d’Ousmane Sonko montre le même amateurisme que celui de Macky Sall. Est-ce cela le changement promis ? Les citoyens n’en peuvent plus d’une politique réduite à de simples paroles. Nous exigeons des actes, et vite. Assez parlé, agissez enfin !
