Réseau criminel démantelé à Mbao : 10 étrangers arrêtés par la BR de Keur Massar au "Garage malien"
The research brigade of the Keur Massar gendarmerie company has dismantled an international criminal network, Seneweb learned from Colonel Ibrahima Ndiaye, head of the Communication and Public Relations Division of the national gendarmerie.
Following the exploitation of intelligence indicating intense drug trafficking at the "Malian Garage" in Mbao, run by foreign nationals, the BR intervened on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The operation resulted in the arrest of ten individuals, including five Malians and five Nigerians, for criminal association and international drug trafficking.
The searches and raids carried out on site led to the discovery and seizure of 120 packets of kush, 200 grams of loose kush, 800,000 CFA francs, and two motorcycles. This operation deals a serious blow to kush trafficking in the Dakar region.
Kush is an extremely dangerous synthetic drug that causes violent hallucinations, serious psychiatric disorders, and can lead to death. The ten suspects are in custody and will be the subject of a thorough investigation.
