Rufisque : Un Guinéen arrêté par la police avec de la drogue
On October 3, 2025, the Rufisque Central Police Station put an end to the activities of an alleged drug trafficker operating in the Santa Yalla neighborhood. The man was arrested in possession of a quantity of Indian hemp.
It was on the basis of information from an anonymous and bona fide source that the elements of the research brigade of the central police station of Rufisque launched a surveillance operation in the Santa Yalla district.
According to the whistleblower, intense drug trafficking was taking place in this area, with the suspect running his illicit business from his home and surrounding areas.
Acting methodically, the police organized a long surveillance of the indicated locations. After several minutes of discreet hiding, their patience was rewarded: the suspect was seen leaving his home with suspicious objects in his pocket.
Immediately arrested and subjected to a security search, the individual was found in possession of 5 cones of Indian hemp.
A successful search
Faced with this discovery, the police immediately carried out a search of the accused's room. Their search uncovered a large quantity of Indian hemp: 500 grams hidden under the bed, according to Seneweb sources.
The accused, B. Diallo, aged 31, who claimed to be a worker, was taken into custody for the supply and transfer of Indian hemp. He was briefly questioned about the origin of the drugs.
The suspect claims to have acquired the Indian hemp in Almadies from a trafficker he met by chance.
