Saly: Un conducteur de moto-taxi arrêté par la police de Mbour avec 1 kg de yamba
The Urban Security Service of the Mbour central police station successfully carried out a raid this weekend by dismantling an Indian hemp trafficking network operating between Thiadiaye, Mbour and Saly.
The operation follows information used by investigators, pointing to an individual identified as B. Seck, born in 1995 in Thiadiaye, a motorcycle taxi driver by profession.
A surveillance system was set up to monitor his movements. This intelligence work enabled him to be tracked to Saly, where he was arrested by surprise outside a hair salon. The suspect was preparing the prohibited goods that he planned to sell that evening, during the Kankourang vigil.
At the time of his arrest, police discovered one kilogram and 13 cones of Indian hemp in his possession, according to Seneweb sources. He was taken into custody and is being prosecuted for offering and selling Indian hemp.
