Scandale Softcare : Guy Marius Sagna fustige le silence du ministère de la Santé
In a post, the elected official denounced the silence of the health authorities in the face of the scandal of sanitary napkins and baby diapers, of the Softcare brand, which is causing great concern among the public. "For almost two months, the Ministry of Health has been unable to tell the Senegalese people the truth about the Softcare scandal," he stated.
Guy Marius Sagna believes that this situation constitutes a danger to public health. "Street drugs kill. The silence of the Ministry of Health also kills," he insisted.
The MP also expressed his solidarity with the workers of the ARP (Senegalese Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency), whom he considers key players in protecting public health. They are protesting salary deductions linked to their union activity and their fight for better regulation of the pharmaceutical sector. "I express my full solidarity with the workers of the Senegalese Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, who are victims of salary deductions because they are fighting for the health of the Senegalese people," he declared.
For Guy Marius Sagna, public health must remain an absolute priority and cannot be compromised by the silence or inaction of the competent authorities. He therefore calls on the Ministry of Health to shed full light on this matter in order to reassure the public.
