Sédhiou : Mécontent après un match de football, il agresse violemment un supporter rival
A. Baldé, 29, was brought before the Sédhiou High Court for assault and battery resulting in a temporary incapacity for work of five days. He attacked an opposing supporter after a football match.
The Tanaff Community Brigade arrested A. Baldé, a shopkeeper, married and father of two children. He is being prosecuted for violently assaulting Mr. Mballo in the face, causing serious injuries.
Premeditated revenge after a match
The incident stems from the outcome of a football match between two local ASCs. Deeply dissatisfied with the outcome of the match and irritated by the behavior of the ASC Mambounkou supporters, A. Baldé decided to take action.
Rather than confronting his victim directly at the match venue, the accused showed calculation and patience. He waited until Mr. Mballo, a supporter of the opposing team, returned to his village and went to the shop to attack him by surprise.
A. Baldé threw himself on the complainant and seriously injured his face, causing injuries that led to a temporary incapacity for work (ITT) of 5 days, according to the medical certificate drawn up by Seneweb sources close to the prosecution.
Following Mr. Mballo's complaint, the Tanaff Community Brigade opened an investigation to shed light on this attack. The investigations conducted by the gendarmes established that the facts were consistent and proven.
Based on the evidence gathered, A. Baldé was taken into custody at the brigade's premises. Following the investigation, the suspect was brought before the Sédhiou High Court, where he will face justice.
