Sédhiou : Un marabout arrêté pour violences sur une dame qui l'aurait traité de "faux type"
Marabout B. Dramé was brought before the Sédhiou High Court for death threats, violence and assault against Mrs. A. Seydi. The events took place in Simbandi Brassou in the Goudomp department.
The Tanaff Community Brigade arrested B. Dramé, a 51-year-old marabout residing in the Simbandi Brassou district of the Goudomp department. He is being prosecuted for death threats, violence, and assault against Mrs. A. Seydi.
According to the reported circumstances, the incident originated from comments the complainant allegedly made about the marabout. The latter claims to have been called a "fake guy" by Mrs. A. Seydi, comments he clearly could not bear.
In a fit of rage, B. Dramé allegedly lunged at the woman and violently grabbed her. But the matter doesn't end there. The marabout also allegedly made death threats against Mrs. A. Seydi's husband, according to Seneweb sources.
In response to these acts of violence and threats, a complaint was filed with the Sédhiou public prosecutor's office. The public prosecutor, recognizing the seriousness of the facts, ordered the commander of the Tanaff Community Brigade to open an investigation.
Summoned by investigators, B. Dramé was questioned about the facts with which he is accused.
The suspect adopted a partial defense strategy. He admitted to grabbing Mrs. A. Seydi, but categorically denied having committed any violence against her. He also denied having made death threats against her husband.
Despite his denials, marabout B. Dramé was brought before the Sédhiou High Court where he will face charges of death threats, violence and assault.
