Séo : deux employés détournent plus de 10 millions F CFA
Two former employees of the Hydraulic Exploitation Company (Séo) in Sandiara, ES Faye (cashier) and CS Mbodji (tax collector), are on trial for the alleged embezzlement of 10.8 million CFA francs. The two defendants are accusing each other after three years in detention, reports L'Observateur, which attended the hearing.
The case erupted following an unexplained drop in collections in 2022, the same source rewinds. The internal investigation revealed that CS Mbodji, the meter reader, allegedly stole the cashier's stamp to collect payments directly and issue fake receipts. He is also accused of altering old invoices and arranging illegal connections, thereby collecting more than an additional million.
At the bar, reports the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group (Gfm), Mbodji admitted some of the facts and offered to pay, while Faye pleaded negligence but denied any complicity. The prosecutor requested five years in prison and a fine of 100,000 CFA francs for each. Séo, for its part, is seeking more than 14 million in damages. The verdict is expected on November 17, adds the Gfm headline.

Ce que la société peut faire c'est retrancher un pourcentage de leur salaire mensuel jusqu'à la concurrence des 10 millions.Bien entendu il seront privés du 13 ieme mois.
C'est juste mon idée personnelle ...
