SNR : Le DG Babacar Ndiaye dresse un bilan historique lors de la cérémonie de vœux
The National Debt Recovery Company (SNR) held its New Year's greetings ceremony, presided over by its Director General, Babacar Ndiaye. The event took place in the presence of the new special advisor, Moussa Ndiaye, the outgoing Secretary General, Elhadj Malick Dembelé, and all the staff.
Speaking on behalf of the college of delegates, Ms. Khadidiatou Cissé praised the achievements recorded in 2025. She notably cited the allowance granted to SNR settlers, the improvement of health insurance, the strengthening of the vehicle fleet, the security and hygiene of the premises, as well as the possibility of obtaining a third pilgrimage ticket.
“For all these efforts, we owe you our thanks and congratulations,” the spokesperson said, before raising a few concerns. These included subsidies for Tabaski, Korité, and school advances, reducing the time frame for refinancing mortgage loans, career management, and, most importantly, the crucial question of the future of the SNR.
In his address, the Director General highlighted the achievements in revenue collection, which earned him the commendation of the Supervisory Board. He noted that the collection rate had exceeded 4 billion, a level never before reached in the last fifteen years. Regarding assets, 100 land titles were identified and 400,000 pages of archives were digitized, marking a significant step forward in the modernization of the organization.
Mr. Babacar Ndiaye also announced a reorganization of SNR's services, following an internal audit. On the social front, he pledged to consolidate existing achievements in order to support staff and better address their concerns.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of gifts from the association and delegates to the outgoing Director General and Secretary General, in an atmosphere of gratitude and conviviality.
