Tabaski sanglante à la cité Fadia : l’étrange repas du tueur à l’origine du drame
In its Wednesday edition, Libération revealed the incident that triggered the tragedy that struck the Fadia neighborhood on Tabaski day, Thursday, May 28. On that day, M. Fall, 45, stabbed his older brother, K. Fall, five years his senior, to death while the latter was taking a nap.
According to a newspaper witness, the killer attacked his brother because, a few hours before the attack, the latter had criticized him for eating raw sheep intestines in the living room of the family home. Mr. Fall reportedly waited until K. Fall was asleep before stabbing him eight times.
After committing the act, the murderer appeared on the balcony of their home, two knives in hand, defying a shocked crowd. Later, Mr. Fall was subdued after jumping from the second floor. A group of young people gave him a rough time. He owed his life only to the intervention of the police.
The certificate of cause of death of the victim, established at the Idrissa Pouye Hospital in Grand-Yoff, indicates that the body presented "muscular skin sections, a wound to the left lung lobe, a section of the circumflex artery of the left lower limb and a large amount of internal and external hemorrhage".
