THIÈS : Accusée de vol par son mari et un ami, une Guinéenne jugée malgré l'absence de preuves
The Thiès court of flagrant offenses examined this Friday the case opposing Mrs. A. Bâ, a Guinean national, to her husband, Mr. Diallo, and to a friend of the latter, Mr. Camara, for accusations of theft involving an amount of 450,000 FCFA and a mobile phone.
The events took place in the Mbour 4 district of Thiès.
Mr. Diallo, the husband, gave his version of events in court. He stated that upon returning home from work, he was intercepted by a man he suspected of being his wife's lover, leading to a violent altercation. It was during this fight that someone allegedly broke into their bedroom and stole 450,000 FCFA. Mr. Diallo immediately suspected his wife.
In the same vein, Mr. Camara, a friend of the couple, accused Mrs. Bâ of stealing an iPhone 12. He explained that his phone had disappeared while he was intervening to separate the two men during a fight. After a fruitless search, he too pointed the finger at the wife as the suspected thief.
Mr. Diallo and Mr. Camara jointly filed a complaint with the police against Ms. A. Bâ, who was arrested and placed under a detention order.
The Twist: Total Lack of Evidence
Before the Thiès court for flagrant offenses, the defendant firmly denied the accusations against her.
The turning point of the hearing came during the testimony of the plaintiffs (Mr. Diallo and Mr. Camara). Confronted with their complaints, they were forced to solemnly admit that they had no material evidence to support their accusations. They stated that they had neither seen Ms. A. Bâ in possession of the stolen items, nor had they caught her in the act of committing the theft. Their accusations were based solely on suspicion.
Despite this lack of evidence acknowledged by the plaintiffs, the Public Prosecutor requested the application of the law against the defendant.
The verdict is expected soon to determine Ms. Bâ's guilt in the face of these theft charges.

ce qui m'interpelle ; dans un pays où la pauvreté est récurrente chacun ou presque possède un I Phone, a 4 femmes et XXXX maîtresses et une marmaille égale à un bataillon de l'armée...cherchez l'erreur ?
