Thiès : arrêté à moto avec 31 sachets de chanvre, il évoque une simple livraison
The Thiès court of flagrant offenses examined the case of A. Fall, a delivery man residing in the Medina Fall district, prosecuted for offering or transferring Indian hemp.
According to the evidence in the case, the accused was arrested in the Diamaguène district while riding a motorcycle with 31 bags of Indian hemp in his possession.
In court, A. Fall denied any involvement in drug trafficking. He maintained that he had been approached by a man named Khadim to make a delivery, claiming that he was completely unaware of the contents of the bags he was transporting.
However, investigators indicated that they had exploited information that the accused worked for the same Khadim, ensuring drug deliveries to clients for a remuneration of 3,000 FCFA per trip.
At the end of the debates, the public prosecutor requested that the law be applied against the defendant.
The case has been adjourned for deliberation.
