Thiès : trois élèves arrêtés pour avoir cambriolé leur propre lycée
Three third-year electromechanical engineering students at the François Xavier Ndione Technical High School have been arrested for theft and attempted burglary, reports Libération. According to the same source, Mr. Cissé (21 years old), Mr. Ndiaye (21 years old), and Mr. Sarr (20 years old) are implicated in the theft of an air conditioner motor coil.
Initial findings of the investigation indicate that the school's security guard caught Cissé leaving the refrigeration and air conditioning department on a motorcycle. When questioned, Cissé confessed and returned the coil. He also stated that his two accomplices had broken into the workshop by smashing a rear window before being chased away by security. Taken to the Nguinth police station by the deputy headmaster, the three suspects admitted to the crime and were then placed in custody.
