Thiès : Un sexagénaire accusé du viol d'une fille de 10 ans
In the Médina Fall district, in the commune of Thiès-Nord, a 65-year-old man, A. Sy, is accused of having abused a 10-year-old girl, this Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
The victim's mother, A. Mbaye, who, with her daughter, occupies a rented room in the accused's family home, goes to work early every morning. It was under these circumstances that the alleged offender allegedly began abusing the child, threatening her with death if she ever reported him.
The girl, according to her mother, was therefore forced to maintain intimate relations under threat, until the day when the little girl, traumatized, decided to accompany her mother to her workplace, refusing to stay at home with her tormentor.
Observant and concerned about her daughter's health, Mrs. Mbaye had to resolve to go to the Keur Mame El Hadj health center, then to the 10th hospital, for medical examinations.
The medical findings will report cases of abuse, confirming that "the girl, who has injuries, suffered several penetrations, with tears to the hymen."
The court has been seized.
