Tivaouane : Comment un présumé homosexuel a été démasqué
A man described by some locals as homosexual was attacked in the early hours of Wednesday, February 18, around 3 a.m., in the town of Tivaouane. He was then taken to the police station.
According to a resident's testimony, the individual, identified as Madiama and living in the Thialé neighborhood, had been lured into a trap set by local youths. These youths claim that an exchange of intimate messages had begun following initial contact by phone.
According to the same sources, a scheme had been devised to arrange a meeting with him. These young men then went to his home where he was caught and filmed in a compromising situation.
The witness reports that intimate videos were also found on his mobile phone.
The man was lynched by the group before being handed over to the Tivaouane police station, along with the phone presented as containing evidence.
