Touba-Dahra : un Wopouya fauche un chauffeur en panne sur la RN3

A tragic accident occurred on Sunday, August 10, 2025, around 4 a.m., on National Road 3 (RN3) between Touba and Dahra, near the village of Mbacké Djoloff, in the commune of Sagatta Djoloff (Linguère department).

A "Wopouya" type vehicle, a Mitsubishi with registration number KL 7802-B, traveling towards Dahra, fatally struck Omar Seck, a 50-year-old driver. The latter, the driver of a van with registration number DL 4385, had stopped to repair a flat tire. While he was carrying out the repair, the speeding Wopouya crushed him.

Omar Seck's body was transported to the morgue at the Dahra health center by firefighters. The driver of the Wopouya was taken into custody at the Dahra gendarmerie for manslaughter, pending further investigation.
