TRAFIC DE DROGUE : Les chiffres alarmants dévoilés par le parquet de Thiès
During the incineration of over 95 tons of unfit-for-consumption products and drugs seized by defense and security forces in the classified forest of Thiès, the prosecutor of the Thiès court, Modou Sokhna Thiam, shared alarming figures that demonstrate the resurgence of drug trafficking in Thiès. "In 2025, of the 95 cases tried in criminal court, at least 65 will concern drug trafficking," he stated.
The prosecutor reassured the public that traffickers would be relentlessly pursued. "One of the prosecutor's office's missions is to prosecute offenders, whatever their nature. The prosecutor's office will drive this momentum in conjunction with the defense and security forces to ensure a much more effective presence on the ground and that enforcement is much more focused on confiscation and preservation of goods, and above all, the destruction of seized products. This is a matter of public health. And at this level, we are all called upon, and the prosecutor's office has an important role to play in this issue," he said.
For the prosecutor, this incineration is much more than a material gesture; it is a recognition of the tireless work of customs, the police, the gendarmerie, the hygiene department, and the retail sector. This synergy of actions, which led to the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs and products unfit for consumption, must be celebrated, according to the public prosecutor.

Cette humiliation collective doit cesser. Notre nationalité n'est pas à brader ! Sa place est en prison soit en France ou dans ce pays . L'Etat ne doit -il pas protéger ses citoyens ?
