Trafic de drogue : l'institutrice et le livreur
The Pikine-Guédiawaye flagrante delicto court last Friday heard a drug trafficking case involving a schoolteacher, S. Hann, and a motorcycle delivery driver, Mr. Diongue.
The observer, who attended the hearing, explains how the police trapped the delivery man: the case broke after an undercover policewoman ordered 10 grams of hashish from the delivery man. Once the trap was sprung, the latter revealed that he was getting his supplies from S. Hann and his companion, PD Diop, alias "Son."
During a search, the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group continues, police seized 40 grams of drugs in the teacher's apartment, who admitted to having delivered the order while under the influence of her partner, whom she had been dating for two months. He is currently on the run.
During the trial, the same source added, the court acquitted the two defendants of the charge of criminal conspiracy but found them guilty of supplying or transferring drugs, sentencing them each to two years in prison.
The teacher's lawyer, quoted by L'Observateur, argued that it was manipulation, highlighting her exemplary record and the risk of being struck off the civil service, and asked the court for clemency. His request was rejected.
