Trafic de drogue : Un chef de réseau arrêté à Mbour
On August 21, 2025, the urban security forces of the Mbour central police station arrested a man suspected of leading a vast hard drug trafficking network on the Petite Côte. The operation followed an anonymous tip reporting a network of kush traffickers operating in Mbour, Saly, Nianing, and Joal. The suspect, described as the leader of this network, was responsible for distributing the goods.
Informed that he was to make a delivery in Mbour, near a bank, investigators set up a surveillance system. The man, spotted on a motorcycle taxi, was immediately arrested. The search resulted in the seizure of two plastic bags containing 430 kepas of kush.
Placed in police custody, the suspect is the subject of an in-depth investigation aimed at identifying and neutralizing the entire network.
