Trafic de drogue : Un Guinéen arrêté par la police de Rufisque avec 19 kg de "yamba"
During the night of Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 September 2025, elements of the central police station of Rufisque seized a large amount of Indian hemp trafficking.
It all started with an anonymous tip, deemed reliable, reporting drug trafficking fueled by two young motorcyclists, operating between the Rufisque fishing dock and the Keury Souf and Darou Rahmane neighborhoods. The investigation unit immediately established surveillance.
The two suspects, riding a TVS motorcycle, were spotted near Keury Souf. Upon seeing the police, they attempted to flee. But their motorcycle was quickly surrounded by bloodhounds who emerged from the darkness to surprise them. While the passenger managed to blend into the background, the driver was arrested, according to Seneweb sources.
During the search, the police discovered 19 blocks of Indian hemp, each weighing one kilogram, in his backpack. The individual, who identified himself as A. Diallo, born in 1994 in Conakry and residing in Darou Rahmane/Rufisque, admitted to owning the drugs. However, he specified that his accomplice, nicknamed "Lang Lang," who was on the run, was only an escort.
He was taken into custody at the central police station, while the drugs were confiscated for further investigation. The search for his fugitive accomplice continues.
