Trafic de migrants et escroquerie portant sur 80 millions F CFA à Touba : Serigne Moustapha Mbacké et Serigne Fallou Faye envoyés en prison
The Mountakha Voyage affair is shaking the holy city of Touba. Serigne Moustapha Mbacké, Serigne Fallou Faye, and Mouhamed Marena were arrested for migrant smuggling and fraud involving an estimated sum of 80 million CFA francs. The trio was arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC).
According to the investigation, Serigne Fallou Faye had set up a travel agency in Touba called Mountakha Voyage. In his activities, he offered candidates trips to Europe and the Americas, for varying amounts. In total, more than 50 people were attracted by these offers.
DIC investigators estimate that the agency collected more than 80 million CFA francs handed over by the victims in the hope of obtaining a visa. But their dream of emigrating quickly collapsed, as the promises were never kept.
Referred to the Financial Judicial Pool, their case was assigned to the judge of the 3rd investigating chamber. Following their hearing, Serigne Moustapha Mbacké, Serigne Fallou Faye, and Mouhamed Marena were charged this Friday with criminal conspiracy, fraud, and attempted migrant smuggling. The investigating magistrate remanded Serigne Moustapha Mbacké and Serigne Fallou Faye in custody, while Mouhamed Marena was granted provisional release.

Sall n'avoir manque de vision... Le probleme que les Senegalais ont envers Macky Sall est la dilapidation des fonds publique entre vole, detournement, surfacturation et gres a gres / potd de vin.
LE regime de Macky a juste ete trop corrompu aec des voleurs partout... Des milliers de milliards ont disparu entre 2012 et 2024.
Ousmane Sonko est l'incarnation du JUB et c'est pourquou la majorite des Senegalais sont avec lui.
Donc cessez de nous repeter que il y a des programmes qui sont de Macky Sall! PRODAC par example est un EXCELLENT initiative mais tout le financement a ete dilapide sous Macky Sall. Diomaye va tout recommence et cette fois ci, l'argent ne sera pas detourne. C'est ca la difference entre MAcky Sall et ce regime: JUB.
