Victime d’un vol après un accident : Babacar Mbaye Ngaraf alerte sur la recrudescence des agressions en scooter
An incident last Thursday involved Babacar Mbaye Ngaraf, coordinator of the Synergy of Actors for Suburban Sanitation (Saaba). While he was driving around 8 p.m., his vehicle was hit by a scooter carrying two people.
What initially seemed like a simple traffic accident took a different turn.
Indeed, taking advantage of the confusion, one of the two men on the motorbike snatched Mr. Ngaraf's bag, containing administrative papers and a sum of money. The latter only realized the deception after the attackers had left.
After filing a complaint, Babacar Mbaye Ngaraf, who spoke on the "Xalass" program on Radio Futurs Médias (RFM), urged people to be cautious. He also urged authorities to strengthen controls on two-wheelers, particularly through mandatory registration. "These attacks are becoming all too common. We must act before they cause more serious casualties," he said.
