Virement de 10 milliards F CFA : Abdoulaye Bibi Baldé entendu à la DIC
Former minister and director general of La Poste, Abdoulaye Bibi Baldé, was at the DIC offices last Tuesday. Libération, which provided the information, reports that he was questioned as part of the investigation into the findings of the Court of Auditors' report on the audit of public finances between 2019 and April 2024, under Macky Sall.
Bibi Baldé was questioned specifically about the "Sukuk SOGEPA" section of the document, the newspaper points out. It recalls: "In its report, the Court of Auditors indicated that of the amount from this Sukuk, 114.4 billion CFA francs had not been transferred to the Treasury. By tracking the money, it was established that 10 billion were transferred to La Poste under conditions that remain to be determined. It was around this transfer that Abdoulaye Bibi Baldé's hearing revolved."
The heads of other structures such as Seneguindia, Eiffage, CSS and Bamba Ndiaye Sa, allegedly involved, should also be questioned as part of the investigation into this affair, Libération reports.
The same source recalls that before Bibi Baldé, Abdoul Yaya Kane, former director general of SOGEPA, the director general of the Islamic Bank of Senegal (BIS) as well as her predecessor, and managers of securitization companies were questioned by DIC investigators, following the instructions of the financial prosecutor's office.
