Zac Mbao : Un vigile arrêté par la police pour trafic de "yamba"
Elements of the Research Brigade of the Zac Mbao District Police Station put an end to the activities of a drug trafficker operating in the SAGEF estate.
F. Kouroumah, a Guinean security guard, was arrested on Saturday around 1 p.m. for possession, offering and selling Indian hemp, according to Seneweb sources.
An anonymous tip led to the arrest
The arrest of the suspect, born in 1986 in the Republic of Guinea and residing in the SAGEF housing project in Zac Mbao, follows a reliable anonymous tip. According to information received by investigators, the security guard was involved in drug trafficking from his room in a house in the project.
After several cross-checking and patrol missions, the brigade elements raided the suspect's home. The search proved successful: the police discovered in his room three (03) cones of Indian hemp, a pile of papers used to package the illicit goods and two (02) pairs of scissors used to package the drugs.
When questioned about the charges against him, F. Kouroumah unequivocally admitted to them. The security guard admitted to having engaged in drug trafficking from his home.
The Public Prosecutor was informed of this arrest and a thorough investigation was opened. The suspect was taken into custody.
