Ziguinchor : Un vendeur de charbon et un restaurateur pris la main dans le sac avec du "yamba"
The officers of the central police station in Ziguinchor made a significant seizure during the security operation on the night of February 26-27, 2026. Two individuals were arrested in possession of large quantities of drugs.
The man in question is XAD, 23 years old, a restaurant owner residing in Tilène. He was carrying six 875g blocks and five cones of Indian hemp, as well as two pairs of scissors, suggesting a resale activity.
His co-arrested partner, SB, 39, a charcoal seller residing in Ngoré, was arrested in possession of five blocks of Indian hemp weighing 125g each, plus one block of hashish.
The two men are being held in custody at the central police station where the investigation is ongoing.
