Of this trio, Hakimi is the only one yet to taste victory, despite two consecutive podium finishes. His consistency at the highest level and his performances both at club and international level make him the clear favorite for many observers this year.
By hosting the CAF Awards less than a month before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco confirms its status as a hub of continental football. With modern infrastructure, a well-established organization, and growing ambitions, the kingdom is increasingly establishing itself as a stronghold of African sport.
While Salah remains a reliable player and Osimhen a formidable competitor, the momentum clearly favors Achraf Hakimi. His influence at PSG, his consistency in big matches, and his key role in Morocco's recent successes give him a significant advantage.
