Basket : les Lions changent de tenue
The Senegalese Basketball Federation (FSBB) has a new equipment supplier. It is Capelli Sport, a subsidiary of a group involved in several sports (football, softball, baseball, basketball, etc.). The two entities finalized their partnership this Wednesday at a hotel in Dakar, reports Record, which broke the news in its Thursday edition.
Babacar Ndiaye, quoted in the newspaper, revealed that the contract is for three years and that the national teams will receive $500,000 (277 million CFA francs) worth of equipment. "Our brand is growing and will work with all the teams in the FSBB," confirmed Charbel Bou Raad, Asia and Africa Director of Capelli Sport. "We didn't come just to sponsor, but to participate in the development of the team [the Lions A]."
