The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has welcomed, in an official statement, the convincing results of the fully digital ticketing system implemented at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. An innovation that, according to the body, has lived up to its promise.
The Senegal-Mauritania match, played as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, saw revenue reach a record 218,661,930 CFA francs, a 27% increase compared to the previous match against Sudan. This significant jump confirms the effectiveness of the adopted digital model, which is based on three pillars: increased transparency in sales management; enhanced transaction traceability; and a simplified and secure experience for supporters.
The FSF warmly thanks the Lions' fans for their trust and commitment, emphasizing that this collective success is the result of massive public support for this new digital era. "Together, let's continue to promote our football," the press release concludes.
