Bundesliga : Nicolas Jackson voit rouge
Having just delivered a fine performance in the Champions League, punctuated by a goal and an assist, Nicolas Jackson started on Saturday for Bayern Munich's trip to Bayer Leverkusen (1-1).
Despite this promising start, the Senegalese international striker was sent off at the end of the first half. The former Casa Sports player, guilty of a tackle on Frenchman Martin Terrier, initially received a yellow card. But after a VAR review, the referee reversed his decision and ultimately sent Jackson off in the 42nd minute.
A tough blow for the Senegalese striker, who had been in excellent form in recent weeks. Bayern even finished the match with nine men, as Luis Diaz was also sent off for simulation in the 84th minute.
