CAN MAROC-2025 : L’Angola dévoile sa liste avec Mabululu, sans Bastos et Gilberto
Angola's coach, Patrice Beaumelle, has announced a 28-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, which kicks off on December 21. Drawn in Group B, the Palancas Negras will face South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Egypt.
Among the selected players are Clinton Mata (Lyon), Show, Fredy, and Gelson Dala, who will form the backbone of a team built on a solid defense. Angola will, however, have to contend with several major absences, notably Bastos, who is injured, as well as Gilberto, Capita, and Depu, who were not called up.
Having arrived just three months before the competition, Beaumelle is relying on a mix of regulars and local players to challenge the continent's top teams. At the last edition in Ivory Coast, Angola was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
