CAN Maroc-2025 : Le roi Mohammed VI réagit aux heurts de la finale
King Mohammed VI rejoiced that the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, organized by the Kingdom of Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, will remain a major event in continental football.
In a statement released by the royal cabinet, His Majesty King Mohammed VI also expressed regret over the incidents that occurred in the final minutes of the final between Morocco and Senegal.
While deploring these actions, the sovereign called for overcoming tensions, believing that once passions subside, inter-African fraternity will naturally prevail. He emphasized that the success of this AFCON transcends national borders and also represents a victory for Africa and its football.
"Even though this great continental football festival hosted by the Kingdom seems to have been sadly marred by the unfortunate episode in the final minutes of the match between the national teams of Morocco and Senegal, during which regrettable incidents and very deplorable actions took place, it remains that once the passion has subsided, inter-African fraternity will naturally prevail, because this Moroccan success is also an African success. Morocco remains proud to have offered, on its soil, a month of popular joy and sporting emotion, and to have contributed to the prominence of Africa and its football," the statement said.
Faced with attempts at denigration and discrediting following these events, the king is convinced that the African peoples will be able to distinguish between things and preserve the historical ties of proximity, respect and cooperation that unite them.
According to the statement, nothing can permanently alter the spirit of solidarity and fraternity that underpins relations between Morocco and other nations of the continent, including Senegal.
Mohammed VI assures that even if the last minutes of the final left a bitter taste, they cannot erase the essential: a landmark AFCON, organized on Moroccan soil, which contributed to the influence of Africa and its football, and which reminds us, beyond sporting passions, of the need to preserve the values of unity, respect and peace between peoples.

Je l'attendais ce communiqué qui devra être suivi par des prises de parole publiques des dignitaires politiques et religieux. Tout le monde normal, pas les pyromanes ou autres suppôts de satan, doit agir pour détendre les relations. Comme, il le dit, la fraternité entre les peuples doit primer. C'est le but de la Can; elle ne doit pas nous diviser.
Vraiment tournons la page et continuons à œuvrer pour l attente et la fraternité.

Le Maroc a deux adversaires l algerie ça c'est un secret de polichinelle et 'le Sénégal qui déroute ses plans machiavéliques et a révélé ses fourberies à la face du monde.

Les graves incidents et les actes racistes subis par les sénégalais et autres africains au maroc montrent très clairement au moins deux choses :
1 Le maroc qui demandait à adhérer à la cédéao n'a pas sa place dans la cédéao
2 Le maroc qui veut organiser la finale de la CM ne peut pas compter sur le soutien de pays africains comme le nôtre
Il n'y a aucune "fraternité interafricaine". C'est une imposture royale! Nul n'est dupe ! Tant qu'à parler d'apaisement, il faut poser des actes francs et concrets dans ce sens. Du côte du sénégal, les autorités ont posé des actes clairs allant dans ce sens!
